I have completed work on my memoir! It is titled Ten of Swords: My Journey Through Grief. I queried over 40 agents for representation and even submitted it unsolicited to a few publishers. So far I haven't had much interest, or the agent doesn't believe they can effectively represent me. So I'm looking at self-publishing again.

I really don't want to use Amazon KDP like I have in the past. Marketing and advertising with them is annoying. So I'm actively looking for new self publishers. Hopefully I will find a home for my writing soon where it will find an audience.

Work on my latest project has been in full swing for a few months now. I am in the middle of crafting a book about my journey through grief. It has been about 14 years since my first husband died suddenly at the age of 29, leaving me alone with our 6 month old son. For a long time I have had a desire to share my story. I have done so in the form of my blog, but it never felt adequate enough. About a year ago, during a tarot reading I was suddenly inspired to begin work on the book. I waited until after the holidays had passed and began to dig into my journals, blog posts and poetry from this long journey. I'm happy to say that I'm making great progress on the book. The first draft is nearly finished.

This book is so important to me. I really hope I will be able to find an agent or publisher who will be willing to work with me in bringing my story to a wider audience, an audience I hope will be helped by such a book. If I can't find that in traditional published I will self publish and work harder than I have for any other book to get this to to the people who would benefit from it the most. Here's to the journey!

I have completed a book of poetry that I am currently seeking publication for. It is titled When Will This Phase End? and contains poetry from as far back as high school up to the present.
